Slowly but surely...

Picked this little bike up a couple months ago, at the time looked like a pretty solid bike, but looks can be deceiving. First order of business was the inspect the frame. It looked like there was minor bondo coverage but after a few minutes with the wire wheel, the once round frame tubes were showing their true identity they were pitted, gouged, and marred unbelievably. Also in the spots the hardtail had been "welded" (I use that term lightly in this case) there were booger spot welds and gaps, it's amazing what some people are comfortable with calling a well done job, this thing is going to have to be cut off and redone, along with replacement of the damaged frame tubes.
